Billy Rue
President and CEO
Mr. Rue attended The Pennsylvania State University where he majored in Business Management and Marketing. During his professional career, he has successfully established and developed several businesses, predominantly in the medical/healthcare field.
As the co-founder and president of Seneca Surgical, Inc., an orthopedic surgical distribution company specializing in sports medicine, Mr. Rue helped grow the company into a $10 million enterprise.
He also co-founded a start-up pharmaceutical distribution company that promoted a revolutionary medical food for the treatment of inflammation.
Mr. Rue's experience in the two industries led him to start exploring safe and effective pain relief treatments. He struck on the concept of compounding formulations for specific types of pain and conditions.
In 2008, he and his partner developed Focused Pain Relief, knowing that compounded pharmaceuticals could fill a much needed void for people suffering from acute and chronic pain. Mr. Rue continues to develop the company, serving as its President and CEO.
Outside of his business endeavors, Mr. Rue is a member of the Rochester Yacht Club and enjoys numerous outdoor pursuits, including sailing, biking, hiking, camping, backpacking, rollerblading, and scuba diving. He's also a fitness and nutrition buff. His most favorite activity, though, is spending time with his wife and two children.
